Who are we?
We’re Simon and Maria.
We have lived in Maribor for over 20 years and would like to think that we know our city extremely well. We are always happy to suggest locations to visit and give guidance on how to get around our wonderful city.
Simon now runs a software company while Maria is a midwife and brings happiness to this world.
The apartment
Spacious, with high ceilings, quiet and full of character; this apartment offers luxurious living space, all the privacy and a lovely balcony overlooking the city square. There’s almost no need for your or public transport any more – you can walk to almost anywhere from here!

The space
This is not an ordinary holiday home – this full of character building was was once Archduke Johann’s house and a hotel named after him in 1850s. Now you can enjoy this beautiful, completely renovated and bright Maribor apartment in the very city centre.
This MARIBOR City Apartment is located on the 1st floor of the town house in the very city centre (pedestrian area). This fully equipped place has new equipment and renovated bathroom. The apartment is very cosy, whilst people that visited before, describe it as a perfect romantic getaway spot.
The apartment consists of: entry hall, invigorating room with kitchen and dining room, connected to the daily-living area, which has the possibility of extending the cosy sofa into a guest bed (140x200cm) in 10 seconds. It also offers a balcony overlooking the town square and Slovenska/Gosposka street with shops and cafes.
Hall to the living room contains spacious wardrobes and entrance to the sleeping area, where a bed with memory foam mattress will be happy to relieve you from tensions of everyday life…
Things to note
This is a NO-SMOKING flat. We understand that some people do need it though, so feel free to smoke on the balcony! Balcony chairs and table are provided and available for your convenience as well.
The location is perfect for people who love nature, since you can walk to the lovely Maribor city park and the nearest bakery is less than 20 meters away!
It’s suitable for a couple, up to four people with extended sofa or a single person who wants to stay in a comfortable, cosy and modern accommodation in the city centre. You’re all welcome!
